Biography
Christine Strüssmann holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1982), a Master's degree in Ecology from the State University of Campinas (1992) and a PhD in Biosciences (Zoology) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2003). Currently Associate Professor of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, where she teaches subjects in the undergraduate courses in Veterinary Medicine, Biological Sciences and Animal Science and guides students of the Postgraduate courses in Ecology and Conservation of Biodiversity (Masters and Doctorate) and Zoology (Master's). Coordinates, executes and / or guides research projects in the areas of Taxonomy, Systematics and Ecology of Amphibians and Reptiles.
