Biography
Fernando Zagury Vaz de Mello currently working as Professor of the Department of Biology and Zoology of the Institute of Biosciences of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, and curator of the Entomology Section of the Zoological Collection of UFMT, a research productivity fellow at CNPq (2011-), postdoctoral Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle. Author or co-author of more than 100 scientific articles in indexed journals. Orienta or guided more than 20 master's theses or doctoral theses, and several scientific initiation or graduation courses. Has experience of research in the Systematics and Taxonomy of Recent Groups, working mainly on topics related to taxonomy, systematics, biogeography, faunistic and biodiversity of coleopteran insects of the superfamily Scarabaeoidea
