Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1994). Specialization in Clinical Genetics and Dysmorphology by the Federal University of São Paulo-Escola Paulista de Medicina (1995-1996). Specialist in Clinical Genetics by the Brazilian Medical Association-Brazilian Society of Clinical Genetics, in 1997. Master in Morphology (Genetics) by the Federal University of São Paulo-Escola Paulista de Medicina (1997). PhD in Sciences (Genetics) by the Federal University of São Paulo-Escola Paulista de Medicina (2002). He is currently Associate Professor, Professor and Head of the Discipline of Descriptive Anatomy and Topography of the Department of Morphology and Genetics of the Paulista School of Medicine, Federal University of São Paulo, Ad hoc Advisor to the Department of Anatomy of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP), ad hoc advisor to the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP), ad hoc advisor to the Research Support Foundation (UESC, Bahia), State University of Bahia (UNEB, Bahia), State University of Southwest Bahia (UESB) and ad hoc Assessor of the State of Amazonas (FAPEAM). journals Clinical Anatomy, Microscopy Research and Technique, European Journal of Histochemistry and Journal of Morphological Sciences.

Areas of research have an emphasis on Human and Medical Genetics, Craniofacial Dysmorphology, Genetic Counseling, Anatomy and Dysmorphology of Temporomandibular Joint, Morphology and Computer Science
