Biography
Sergio Luiz Domingues Cravo Physiotherapist at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCC) in 1978. Master (1982) and Doctor (1987) in Physiology (Neurophysiology) by the Department of Physiology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP) Prof. Dr. Cesar Timo-Iaria. Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Neurology (Department of Neurology and Neurosciences), Cornell University Medical College (March 1987 to December 1989) under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Donald J. Kings. Professor of Physiology at UNIFESP-EPM in 2001. Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology, ICB-USP (1983-1992), Adjunct Professor, Department of Physiology, UNIFESP-EPM (1992-).
Research Interest
Participation of bulb vasomotor nuclei in the neurohumoral regulation of blood pressure. Emphasis on the neural circuits involved in the regulation of sympathetic activity and blood flow to various vascular beds and organs.
