Biography
Taiza Stumpp Teixeira holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1999), a Ph.D. (2006) in Morphology from the Federal University of São Paulo and a Post-Doctorate in Human Genetics from the Medical Research Council - Human Genetics Unit of Edinburgh-2007/2008). She is currently Associate Professor at Escola Paulista de Medicina - Federal University of São Paulo. He has experience in Morphology, with emphasis on Developmental Biology and Reproduction, working mainly on the following topics: development of germ cells, manipulation of mouse and mouse embryos at different ages. The group has been focusing on topics such as epigenetics and the defense of the germ cell genome against retrotransposons
