Biography
Éverson Miguel Bianco holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry (B.Sc.) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, Curitiba, PR (1995-1998); specialization (lato sensu) in Didactics of Higher Education (1999), by the same university; Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná, Curitiba, PR (2001-2003) and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Fluminense Federal University, Niterói, RJ (2004-2008). He has completed four post-doctoral (PRODOC / CAPES, PDJ / CNPq, REUNI / CAPES and PNPD / CAPES fellowships) in the Departments of Fundamental Chemistry of the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, PE (2009-2010); Pharmaceutical Sciences, Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC (2011); Botany of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC (2012-2013) and Chemistry of the Regional University Foundation of Blumenau, Blumenau, SC (2014-2015), respectively, in which he has always worked in the Bioprospecting area of ​​marine organisms. He is currently associate professor (class A, level 1), Department of Marine Sciences, Federal University of São Paulo, Santos, SP.
Research Interest
His main research interest is in the Chemistry of Natural Products of the Sea, especially algae, octocorals, sponges and tunicates; Pharmacognosy and Marine Chemical Ecology.
