Biography
Graduate at Medicina from Universidade Federal de Pelotas (1991). Master's at Neurosurgery (2000) and PHD at Neurosurgery (2009) from Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Specialized in epilepsy surgery at Montreal Neurological Institute, from McGill University, between 2001and 2003, as a Clinic and Research Fellow (Sponsored by CNPq). Since 2003 is the neurosurgeon in charge by the Epilepsy Surgery Program of the Department of Neurosurgery of Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Since 2010 is Professor of the Departament of Neurosurgery of Federal University of São Paulo. Since march 2013 is the head of Division of Neurosurgery of Escola Paulista de Medicina. Has experience in Medicine, focusing on Neurosurgery, acting on the following subjects: neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, imaging guided surgery.
