Biography
Adriana R. Pohlmann has a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1985), a Master's degree in Chemistry from UFRGS (1991) and a doctorate from Chimie Thérapeutique - Universite Paris V (Rene Descartes) (1997). Full Professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry at UFRGS, received the Thesis Prize (Roussel-Uclaf) in 1998 and the Diploma of Laureate at the Université Paris V. She was Head of Department (1999-2001), Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (2013-2015 and 2015-2017), a member of the Post-Graduation Committee on Chemistry (2001-2003, 2009-2011) and the Postgraduate Committee on Pharmaceutical Sciences (2017-2019), Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemistry (2003-2007) and Coordinator of Implantation of the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Center of UFRGS (2006).
