Biography
Adriane Prisco Petry holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1987), a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1993) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002). Since 1993 she is a professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Professor of the Post-Graduation Program in Mechanical Engineering at UFRGS, acting as a Master's and Ph.D. She is currently Coordinator of the Undergraduate Energy Engineering Commission of UFRGS. Vice-coordinator of the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics.
Research Interest
She has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Wind Energy, Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Turbulence Modeling.
