Biography
She is Professor of Pharmacology for the Medicine Course of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the Graduate Program in Psychiatry (Capes 7) of the same University. Researcher at INCT Translational in Medicine and Laboratory of Molecular Psychiatry, Hospital de Clínicas, Porto Alegre. He holds a Doctorate-Sandwich in Medical Sciences (2007) from UFRGS and University of Barcelona, ​​Spain and postdoctoral studies at the Institute of Neurosciences of Hospital Clínico de Barcelona (2007-2012). During this period, he developed an instrument known as the Short Test of Psychosocial Functioning (FAST), which is widely used by the scientific community.She also developed two other scales for application in Psychiatry: Biological Rhythms Assessment in Neuropsychiatry (BRIAN) and Cognitive Bipolar Rating Assessment (COBRA), both validated for bipolar disorder. In 2011, he held a second postdoctoral fellowship with the Department of Pharmacology, Oxford University (UK).
Research Interest
Her main line of research is the study of the pathophysiology of mental disorders, cognition, functionality and development of new therapeutic targets.
