Biography
Professor of Speech Therapy Course, UFRGS - Department of Health and Human Communication. She graduated in Speech and Hearing Therapy from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM - 1993), with specialization in Speech Therapy (UFSM - 1993), Master in Human Communication Disorders (UFSM - 1996) and Ph.D. in Biomedical Gerontology (PUCRS - 2005). Title of specialist in Audiology (2005) by the Federal Council of Speech and Hearing Therapy. Specialist in Gerontology by the Brazilian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (2007). Member of the medical staff of the Hospital de Clínicas of Porto Alegre. Editor of the Journal Interdisciplinary Studies on Aging.
