Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM (1994), a master's degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM (1997: orientation of Prof. Antonio Carlos Azevedo), PhD in Soil Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande UFRGS (2002: orientation of Prof. Nestor Kämpf) with a PhD at the Federal University of Lavras - UFLA (1999: orientation of Prof. Nilton Curi), and postdoctoral studies at the University of Cordoba - UCO - Spain (2007-2008 : with the collaboration of Prof. José Torrent, 2015-2016: with the collaboration of Prof. Vidal Barrón). He is Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul; Assistant Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Soil Science and serves as an ad hoc reviewer in several scientific journals; It is oriented in the Masters and PhD courses of the Postgraduate Program in Soil Sciences (PPGCS) of UFRGS.
Research Interest
Has experience in the area of ​​Agronomy, with emphasis in Pedology and Land Use; (ii) pedogenic minerals as pedoenvironmental and pedogenetic indicators, (iii) survey and classification of soils, and (iv) anthropogenic actions in the mineralogical dynamics and behavior of tropical and subtropical soils, recovery of degraded areas.
