Biography
He has a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1995), a Master's degree in Medicine: Surgery from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2000) and a PhD in Medicine: Surgery from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004). He is currently Adjunct Professor of the Surgery Department of FAMED / UFRGS, Subarea of ​​Digestive System Surgery (Group of Biliary Pathways and Pancreas of Hospital de Clínicas, Porto Alegre). He has experience in digestive surgery especially in the area of ​​bile duct and pancreatic surgery.
Research Interest
Maintains line of research in the area of ​​carcinogenesis and biliopancreatic inflammation.
