Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1989), a master's degree in Plant Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992) and a PhD in Plant Biology from the State University of Campinas (2004). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
Research Interest
He has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Plant Physiology, working mainly on the following topics: nitrogen metabolism, nitrogen symbiotic fixation, hypoxia in the plant root system and abiotic stresses in plants.
