Biography

Bachelor in Chemistry (2001), Master in Physics-Chemistry (2002) and PhD in Analytical Chemistry (2007) by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He holds a PhD in the Environmental and Pollutant Processes - University of Aveiro / Portugal (2006) and PhD in the Environmental Chemistry Group (GQA) of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Has Specialization in Environmental Management: Education and Society by the Catarinense Teaching Association (2006). She is currently Associate Professor IV of the UFRGS Chemistry Institute, Professor of the Graduate Program in Chemistry of UFRGS (PPGQ / UFRGS) and Permanent Professor of the Graduate Program in Materials Science at UFRGS (PGCMAT / UFRGS). Leader of the Laboratory of Environmental Processes and Emerging Contaminants - UFRGS (LAPACE) and the Research Group on Adsorption of the Institute of Chemistry - UFRGS. Associate Researcher at the UFPR Environmental Chemistry Group and UNICENTRO Adsorption Research Group.

Research Interest

He has experience in the field of chemistry, with emphasis on trace analysis and environmental chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: emerging contaminants in the environment, synthesis and application of new adsorbent materials for SPE, adsorption phenomena, humic substances, among others.
