Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1997), a Master's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1999), a PhD in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2006) Grande do Sul (2007) and Post-doctorate from the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB)? Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) (2016). He was Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) (2007 to 2011). He is currently Associate Professor at the Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (IF-UFRGS), where he is responsible for the magnetron sputtering deposition system and the X-ray diffractometer of the Conformation Laboratory Nanometric (LCN).
Research Interest
Has experience in the field of Experimental Solid State Physics, with emphasis on thin films of magnetic materials and their magnetic properties, such as magnetoimpedance, magnetization and diffraction and X-ray refletometry; and superconducting thin films based on Nb. He is part of the research group of the Laboratory of Magnetism (LAM) of IF-UFRGS.
