Biography
She is the first doctor in an organ in Brazil, with a degree from the University of Georgia, USA (Doctor of Musical Arts, 1988), Master of Music (University of Georgia, 1984), Bachelor of Instrument (Organ) Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul-UFRGS (1979), and Bachelor of Instrument (Piano) -UFRGS (1979). She is currently a full professor and master's and doctoral instructor in the Postgraduate Program in Music, also working in the Music Department of the UFRGS Institute of Arts. As a researcher at CNPq she has already developed works in counterpoint and fugue (three books published) in the area of ​​Brazilian music for organ. He has already performed several organ concerts in Brazil and abroad; presents papers regularly in international and national congresses. She is a founding member of the Organizing Association of Rio Grande do Sul and the Brazilian Association of Organists.
Research Interest
Currently works with research with study strategies applied to keyboard instruments (organ and piano).
