Biography
He holds a Master's and PhD in Anthropology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2003/2004 he was a research trainee at the Institut d'Ethnologie Méditerranéenne et Comparative (Université d'Aix-Marseille I & III). Researcher at CNPq. Author of the books From the gift to the profession: the formation of footballers in Brazil and France (Capes and Anpocs prize of best thesis of 2005), Football and social identity and coauthor with Ruben Oliven de Fútbol y cultura (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Megaeventos Sports in Brazil.
Research Interest
In addition to his interest in subjects in the field of anthropology / sociology of sport, he develops research in the area of ​​anthropology of economics and politics.
