Biography
Arthur Germano Fett Neto Graduated in Biological Sciences from UFRGS (1988-CNPq Scientific Initiation), Master in Plant Physiology from UFV (1990-CNPq) and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Plant Physiology from the University of Toronto - Canada (1994-CNPq). He holds a postdoctoral degree in Molecular Genetics of Plants at Dartmouth College-USA (1995-1997-National Science Foundation-USA). He was Visiting Professor at UFRGS (1997-1999-CNPq). From 1999 until the present he is Professor of UFRGS, with entrance by public competition of tests and titles. He has been a CNPq Productivity Fellow since 1999 (currently level 1B).
Research Interest
He has produced over 80 articles in periodicals (mostly international journals including Nature Biotechnology, Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Tree Physiology, Plant Physiology, Phytochemistry), 20 chapters in books, 5 patents and edited 3 books (two from Humana Press / Springer and one from Research Signpost).
