He holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics - Bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2003), a Masters in Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2005) and a PhD in Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2009).
