Biography
He holds a degree in Chemistry (1975 and 1977) and Chemical Engineering (1978) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a Master's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the School of Engineering of UFRGS (1987) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering - Universidad Nacional Del Sur , AR (1992). He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Advisor in the Post-Graduate courses in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ) and Chemistry (PPGQ) of UFRGS. Counselor of the CRQ-V.
Research Interest
He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics and Catalysis, working mainly in the following subjects: sol-gel, xerogel, catalysis, photocatalysis, clay minerals and hydroxides double lamellar.
