Daniel de Carvalho Damin working as Adjunct Professor, Department of Surgery, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Head of the Coloproctology Service, Hospital de Clínicas, Porto Alegre. Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Surgical Sciences, UFRGS. Manager of the Coloproctology Department of the Mãe de Deus Hospital. He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in Gastroenterology from UFRGS. Postdoctoral degree from the University of Miami - USA.
