Biography
Elemar Antonino Cassol holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1970), a Master's degree in Soil Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1974) and a PhD in Agronomy (Solos) - Purdue University (1988), working at the National Soil Erosion Research ARS-USDA Lab. He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, working in the Department of Soils of the Faculty of Agronomy of UFRGS. He is a member of the South Regional Nucleus of the Brazilian Society of Soil Science and the Brazilian Society of Soil Science.
Research Interest
He has experience in the field of Agronomy, with emphasis in Soil Science, working mainly in the following subjects: soil erosion mechanics, soil management, soil conservation, organic fertilization and no-tillage.
