Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1985), a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989) and a Ph.D. from Chimie Moleculaire et Catalyse - Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier (1993). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has been working mainly in the following subjects: silica, polyethylene, supported metallocenes, sol-gel and ziegler-natta catalysts.
