Biography
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (1982) and a Master's degree in Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with emphasis on polymers (1985) by UFRGS. He holds a PhD from the Institut für Makromolekulare Chemie - Herman Staudinger Haus from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität (1989), Freiburg, Germany. He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Polymers, working mainly on the following topics: dynamic mechanical analysis, thermoplastic elastomers, characterization of nanostructured materials and synthesis and characterization of porous microspheres for application in analytical chemistry.
