Biography
He has a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1982), a Master's degree in Botany (Plant Physiology) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1986) and a Ph.D. in Botanica (Plant Ecophysiology) , Maryland, USA (1993). He is currently a Level 3 Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
Research Interest
He has experience in Botany, with emphasis on Plant Ecophysiology, working mainly on the following topics: Photosynthesis Ecophysiology, Native Field Ecology, Plant Responses to Abiotic Stress and competition.
