Biography
He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a Master's degree in Medicine (Gastroenterology) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a PhD in Medicine: Surgery from the Federal University of São Paulo. He is currently Head of the Department of Surgery of the Digestive System of the Hospital de Clínicas of Porto Alegre, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and the Graduate Program in Medicine: Surgery of UFRGS, Regional President of the Society Brazilian Society for the Development of Research in Surgery.
