Biography
Has a degree in Medicine; Master's Degree in Neuroanatomy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996) and PhD in Medicine: Medical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2001). Specialist in Neurology by the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and specialist in Neurosurgery by the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery. Has a certificate of area of ​​activity in Therapeutic Neuroradiology by the Brazilian College of Radiology. He received training in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery (Clinical Fellow 1996-1997) from the University of Toronto (Canada) and postdoctoral fellow at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation in Paris (2004). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul with the functions of Professor of Undergraduate, Researcher and Professor and Advisor of the Post-Graduation Course in Surgery at UFRGS.
Research Interest
He has experience in the area of ​​Human Anatomy and Medicine, with emphasis on Neurosurgery and Interventional Neuroradiology, working mainly on the following topics: angiography, anatomy, arteriovenous malformations, cerebral hemorrhage and nervous system trauma.
