Biography
Marco Flôres Ferrão completed his PhD in Sciences from the State University of Campinas in 2000. He completed post-doctoral studies in 2005/2006 at the State University of Campinas - Brazil and in 2015/2016 at the National University of Rosario - Argentina. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has published 109 articles in specialized journals and 458 papers in annals of events. He supervised and / or coordinated 22 Master's Dissertations and / or Doctoral Theses, in addition to having guided 48 scientific initiation works and 58 course completion works. In addition, he participated in 123 Master, Doctorate, TCC or Qualification Banks. Received 11 awards and / or honors. Currently participates in 5 interinstitutional research projects. He works in the areas of Chemistry and Engineering, with emphasis on Chemometrics, Molecular Spectroscopy, Biofuels and Operational Research. In his Lattes curriculum the most frequent terms in the contextualization of the scientific production are: Chemometrics, Infrared Spectroscopy, Biofuels, Green Analytical Chemistry, Drugs and Foods Quality Control.
