Biography
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with emphasis in Physics and Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983), Master's Degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1986), PhD in Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1992) and Postdoctoral Università di Pisa, Italy (2011). Currently Associate Professor IV of the Department of Physics and Chemistry of the Institute of Chemistry of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis in Theoretical Chemistry, working mainly in the following subjects: studies of photophysics and photochemistry of materials opto-electronic and theoretical study of mechanisms of organic and organometallic reactions.
