Biography
He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2004). Master's degree (CNPq scholarship, 2005-2006) and doctorate (CNPq scholarship 2006-2010) in Biological Sciences (Physiology) by UFRGS. Post Doctoral (Post Doc Júnior - CNPq 2010-2011) of the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Physiology of UFRGS. He was professor regent of the discipline of Physiology for the courses of Medicine and Physical Education at the University of Caxias do Sul (2008-2011). In 2011 he joined the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), where he taught Medicine, Dentistry and Physical Education (2011-2015). In 2013 he joined the permanent staff of the Post-Graduation Program in Nutrition and Food (2013) of UFPel, where he remains until today, having one guidance in progress and one completed. Still at UFPel, he coordinated the First Symposium on Physiology in the Southern Region. He also served as a collaborating researcher at the UFRGS cardiovascular physiology laboratory, where he co-supervised three master's students (CNPq). In 2015, he joined the Department of Physiology as Assistant Professor and as permanent advisor of the Graduate Program in Physiology at UFRGS, where he guides students in the research line: pathogenesis of heart failure.
