Biography
He holds a Bachelor 's Degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry - UFRGS (1989), a Master' s Degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry - UFRGS (1992) and a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (VENEZOLANO). He is currently Associate Professor I at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Chemical Kinetics and Catalysis, working mainly on the following topics: carbonylation and hydrogenation reactions in homogenous and biphasic liquid medium.
