Biography
Adjunct Professor III of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) since 2011, collaborating professor of the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science (2012) and the Graduate Program in Chemistry (2013). Leader of the Polymeric Biomaterials Research Group (certified by CNPq). He completed his PhD in the Chemistry graduate program at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008) where he worked with natural polymers, thermal degradation and polymer characterization techniques. He holds a postdoctoral degree from the New Jersey Center of Biomaterials (Rutgers University) in the United States, developing projects in the field of biodegradable polymers, tissue engineering and 3D printing of hydrogels. He also carried out post-doctoral training at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in the area of ​​electro-nomenclature and nanostructured materials. She was a visiting researcher at Phillips-Universitat Marburg (Germany) and also at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Research Interest
She works in the area of ​​polymers, hydrogels and processing techniques by electrofying and 3D printing, investigating new materials for the medical area, biotechnology and food packaging.
