Biography
Suzana Trindade Amaral holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1979), a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983), a Master's degree in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1984) and a PhD in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996). He is currently Associate Professor 2 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in the area of ​​Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, with emphasis in Physical Metallurgy. Acting mainly in the following subjects: Corrosion, Electrochemistry, corrosion inhibitors, silicate, iron and cyclic voltammetry.
