Biography
Natural of Independência, northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul, son of farmers parents and teachers of basic and fundamental public education. Agronomist (March 2005 - July 2009) and Master in Soil Science by the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) (August 2009 - February 2011 - Available at http://w3.ufsm.br/ppgcs/images/Dissertacoes/TALES -TIECHER.pdf). PhD in Soil Science by UFSM (March 2011 - March 2015). Doctor in "Sciences de la Terre et de l'Univers, Espace, Secteur de Recherche Terre Solide et Enveloppes Superficielles" with a mention "très honorable" by the Université de Poitiers, France (August 2013 - March 2015). Ad-hoc advisor of 27 national and international scientific journals. Member of Editorial Board of two scientific journals. Founding Member and Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Agricultural Technology.
Research Interest
It acts in research involving the nutrient dynamics in the soil and transfer of sediments and nutrients from the soil to the aquatic bodies.
