Biography
Tania Mara Pizzolato holds Degree in Chemistry from the University of Passo Fundo (1983), Master's Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989) and PhD in Materials Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1997). Post doctorate at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas - CSIC, Barcelona, ​​Spain, under the supervision of Dr. Damià Barceló. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Chemistry Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
Research Interest
Analysis of organic pollutants (phenols, pesticides, pharmaceuticals), Treatment of effluents by Advanced Oxidative Processes (Photo Fenton, Heterogeneous Photocatalysis) and conventional, development of solid Phases for preconcentration and for liquid chromatography
