Biography
Passionate about several areas of research, I started my Post-Graduation studying the of memory (Master in Neurosciences - UFRGS - 2003). In the PhD, I studied a p (PhD in Biochemistry - UFRGS - 2007). In my postdoctoral research on depression (UNESC - 2009). Since July 2010 I am Adjunct Professor 40hDE in the Department of Morphological Sciences of UFRGS, professor in the disciplines of Medical Histology II in the course of Medicine and Cell and Tissue Biology in the course of Biomedicine. After joining UFRGS as a teacher, I started an Electronic Atlas of Histology so that the students have another resource to study and understand the discipline that loves me more and more each day. In addition, I am initiating very interesting projects such as the use of stem cells in the regeneration of peripheral nerves and the ultrastructural study of primordial and primary follicles after vitrification.
Research Interest
neurobiology, Pathology related to memory loss - Alzheimer's Disease, and also developed several researches with GRP receptors in different paradigms of memory, such as extinction and reconsolidation
