Biography

Associate Professor in the Anesthesiology and Pain area of ​​the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Member of the Clinical Staff of the Hospital of Clinics of Porto Alegre (HCPA). Head of the Pain and Palliative Medicine Department of HCPA. Researcher 1D of CNPq. Graduation (1992), Master (1997) and Doctorate (2001) in Medicine: Medical Sciences by UFRGS. Anesthesiologist (1993) with Specialization in Pain and Palliative Medicine (2001) by UFRGS, with certificate in the area of ​​pain acting by the Brazilian Medical Association. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Medicine: Medical Sciences (PPGCM), UFRGS (CAPES - concept 6). Vice-coordinator of the PPGCM of FAMED UFRGS 2016-1017.
