Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1983), a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Federal University of Paraíba (1990) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2006). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the area of ​​Zoology, with emphasis on biology of protists and invertebrates, working mainly on the following topics: Taxonomy and ecology of ciliated protists and onicóforos.
Research Interest
Biology of Onychophores, Parasitic isopods of freshwater fish, Helminths of fish parasites, Systematics and Ecology of Ciliates.
