Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Dentistry (2001), a master's degree (2004) and a doctorate (2008) in Cell Biology (Department of Morphology / Institute of Biological Sciences - ICB) by UFMG. She is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Morphology / ICB / UFMG and a director of the Postgraduate Program in Pathology at the Faculdade de Medicina / UFMG (Capes 6 Concept). She is the coordinator of the Orofacial Pain extension project (ICB and Hospital das Clínicas / UFMG) and a member of the Pain Clinic of the UFMG Hospital das Clínicas. Has experience in the area of ​​Morphology and Pathology, acting mainly in the following subjects: pain, orofacial pain, temporomandibular dysfunction, neuropathic pain, neuronal injury, neuroinflammation.

Experimental trigeminal neuralgia: morphological alterations and pathophysiological correlations, Pain, orofacial pain and temporomandibular dysfunction: clinical research in treatment and predisposing factors.
