Biography

Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry, Clinical Analysis modality, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (USP) (1999). Master of Science (MSc), Pharmacology (2002) and Doctor of Science Pharmacology (2005), both at the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto (USP). She is currently an associate professor in the Pharmacology department of the Biological Sciences Institute, Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the field of General Pharmacology, with emphasis in Vascular Pharmacology, acting mainly on the following subjects: vascular reactivity, nitric oxide donors, tolerance to nitrovadilators, hypertension type 2 kidneys - 1 clip and vascular alterations in inflammatory processes.

Research Interest

Renovascular hypertension of type 2 kidneys-1 clip and NO donors, Study of vascular tolerance to nitric oxide donors in normotensive and renovascular hypertensive rats, Understanding the implantation of hypertension 2 rins-1clipe (2R-1C), Tolerance study for other nitric oxide (NO) donors, other than organic nitrates: possible substitution therapy, Study of vascular reactivity in the aorta of mice with Dengue.
