Biography
Graduated in Biological Sciences by the Federal University of Paraná (2008), Master (2010) and Doctor (2014) in Biological Sciences by the Graduate Program in Entomology of the same university. He was a Scholarship for CAPES's Sandwich Doctoral Program for a one-year period at North Carolina State University (USA). She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Zoology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in Zoology, working mainly on the following topics: flies (especially Muscidae), taxonomy, phylogeny with morphological and molecular data, estimation of divergence times and historical biogeography. She is part of the permanent nucleus of the Postgraduate in Zoology of UFMG and is qualified to receive master's students.
