Biography
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1989), with Master's and Doctorate in Plant Biology from UNICAMP (1992, 1997) and postdoctoral degree in Plant Ecophysiology from the University of Barcelona, ​​Spain (2010). She is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (admission in 1994) and Researcher at CNPq. He is an expert in the area of ​​botany, with emphasis in Plant Ecophysiology, acting mainly in the areas of seed germination and dormancy, seed bank, longevity and aging of seeds, oxidative signaling and hormonal balance during dormancy and germination, with emphasis on native species.
