Biography
He has a Masters in Biology - Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, Germany (1994), PhD in Zoology / Parasitology - Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (1998) and postdoctoral studies in parasitology / immunology - René Rachou / FIOCRUZ Research Center -2001). He is currently Adjunct Professor in the Department of Parasitology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte-MG. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology and Immunology, with emphasis on Helminthology, working mainly on the following topics: intestinal helminths, schistosomiasis, Angiostrongylus costaricensis, filarias, cellular immune response.
