Biography
He is an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where he teaches Pharmacology. He holds post-doctoral (2013), doctorate (2011) and master's degree (2007) in sciences (area: Pharmacology) by the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo - USP. Graduated in Pharmacy (2005) with qualification in Clinical Analysis (2006) by Federal University of Ouro Preto - UFOP. He works in the area of ​​cardiovascular pharmacology, with experience with the topics hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, diabetes and innate immunity in cardiovascular diseases.
Research Interest
Cardiac and vascular evaluation in animals submitted to a high carbohydrate diet, Study of NOD receptor signaling pathways: a therapeutic opportunity for the treatment of cardiac remodeling.
