Biography
Achilles Elie Guimarães Kalatzis holds a degree in Economics from the Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho State University (1994), a master's degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1998) and a PhD in Economics from the University of São Paulo (2004). Professor of Production Engineering at the School of Engineering of São Carlos - USP. He is currently coordinator of the research project of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo and professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in Economics, with emphasis in Finance and Industrial Studies, working mainly in the following subjects: Econometrics, investment decisions, Bayesian approach, financial constraints, corporate governance with panel data.
