Biography
Dr. Antonio Alves Dias holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1982), a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (1987) and a PhD in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo 1994). He is currently Assistant Professor MS-3 at the Department of Structural Engineering at EESC-USP. He is Professor of the Postgraduate Course in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering). He works in the area of ​​Civil Engineering, with emphasis in Structures of Timber, mainly in the following subjects: structures of wood, wood, bridges of wood, laminated wood and wood - mechanical properties. Already completed the orientation of seven doctoral theses and 12 master's dissertations.
