Biography
Azauri Albano de Oliveira Júnior is an electrical / electronic engineer (1977) from the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Master of Electrical Engineering (1984) from EESC / USP and PhD in Electrical Engineering (1991) from Escola Politécnica da USP.He is the coordinator of the Control and Power Electronics Laboratory (LACEP) of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of EESC-USP.He is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at EESC / USP since 1978.His areas of interest are: power electronics, drive and control of electrical machinery and teaching of electrical engineering. He is a member ABENGE (Brazilian Association of Engineering Education) and SOBRAEP (Brazilian Society of Power Electronics).
