Biography
Carlito Calil Junior holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Piracicaba (1975) and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (1982). He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Karsruhe-Germany and Forest Products Laboratory - USA. He is currently President of the Brazilian Institute of Wood and Wood Structures, Coordinator of the Standards Committee of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards and Professor of the University of São Paulo. He has experience in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in Structures, working mainly in the following subjects: silos, wooden bridges, structures, wood, Brazilian standard, silos, actions, wind and bridges, protendidas, wood.
