Biography
Edmundo holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1971), a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1981) and a PhD from Civil Engineering - University of Colorado at Boulder (1995). He is currently a Ph.D. Professor at the School of Engineering of São Carlos at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in Geotechnics and Structural Engineering, working mainly in the following subjects: geotechnical properties of natural and compacted soils, soil improvement, geotechnical tests in the laboratory and in the field, development of geotechnical field tests and of laboratory,
